# Hora de los servidores en el cloud de Velneo

En los servidores alojados en el cloud de Velneo la hora del sistema es [UTC](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiempo_universal_coordinado) y no tiene cambio horario.

Esto debemos tenerlo en cuenta cuando queramos analizar los [mensajes](/velneo-vadmin/monitorizacion.md) de Velneo vAdmin y cuando asignemos a campos o a variables la hora del sistema ([currentTime](/velneo-vdevelop/proyectos-objetos-y-editores/editores/asistente-de-formulas/funciones-estandar/funciones-de-horas.md#currenttime)()) en [triggers](/velneo-vdevelop/proyectos-objetos-y-editores/proyecto-de-datos/tabla/trigger.md) o [procesos](/velneo-vdevelop/proyectos-objetos-y-editores/de-aplicacion-y-datos/proceso.md) ejecutados en el servidor (tercer o cuarto plano), ya que la hora almacenada en esos casos será la del servidor.

Si queremos que cuando consultemos la información se "traduzca" esa a hora a muestro uso horario, recomendamos **usar campos de tipo tiempo en lugar de campos de tipo hora**, ya que los campos de tipo tiempo guardan la zona horaria, por lo que, si asignamos el tiempo del sistema a un campo desde un proceso ejecutado en el servidor, cuando ese registro lo consultemos con vClient, el tiempo se mostrará en nuestro uso horario.
