# Actualizaciones vs triggers

## Ahorro y fiabilidad

Las actualizaciones tienen 2 grandes virtudes: La primera es que nos ahorran una gran cantidad de código a programar, la segunda es la fiabilidad que tienen ya que funcionan perfectamente desde el momento en que las programamos.

## Una por tabla

Algo que debemos tener en cuenta es que debemos usar componentes de actualización, aplicando si es necesario condiciones de modificación, pero siempre debemos agrupar todos los componentes de actualización sobre una tabla en la misma actualización. Es decir, no debemos crear más de una actualización contra la misma tabla (campo puntero a maestro).

## Actualización vs Triggers

Siempre que pensemos en la creación de código en triggers debemos plantearnos si podemos hacerlo con una actualización. En caso afirmativo o de duda debemos intentarlo, ya que no solo será más fácil el desarrollo sino que el futuro mantenimiento también será más sencillo.
